It started with macarons at home.
How a home kitchen in 2020 became a warm café on Albert Street.
Locally owned. Family-run.
CozyHaus is a Regina café built one product and one return visit at a time. Different members of our family have helped bake, build, serve, stock, manage and keep the business moving. It has always been a shared effort, supported by a team that cares about the experience as much as we do.
The first macarons at home
In March 2020, our regular work came to a stop. We needed to try something new, so we chose something famously difficult: macarons.
We started researching and testing that month.

The oven that did not cooperate
The early batches did not always work. Neither did the first extra oven we ordered.
We kept testing until the shells came out right and the flavours tasted the way we wanted them to. We began sharing them on Instagram and Facebook, and people started ordering.
Bonjour Macaron becomes 82 Bakeshop
We started as Bonjour Macaron, simply because macarons are French. In September 2021 the home kitchen grew into a dessert shop in Saskatoon called 82 Bakeshop.
The 82 comes from South Korea's international calling code. It was less about serving only Korean food and more about bringing a Korean eye for new dessert trends, presentation and balanced sweetness.
Saskatoon to Regina
On December 15, 2023, we opened a second dessert shop in Regina. It began as a small takeout shop, with macarons, scrolls and the other desserts we already knew how to make.
Opening the unused room
The Regina shop had more room than we were using. We had built a wall and served customers from only the front part of the space. Then we asked a simple question: what if we opened it up and made the kind of café we wanted to visit ourselves?
We already had the desserts. We wanted coffee we would genuinely drink, and a room that gave people a reason to stay.
Finding the coffee
We found the coffee in Calgary after a latte at Analog Coffee stopped us in our tracks. We learned that the beans came from Fratello Coffee Roasters, visited the roastery and knew we wanted to bring that smooth, balanced flavour home to Regina. Here is how we serve it.
CozyHaus as you know it
In 2025, the takeout shop became CozyHaus as people know it today: a warm room filled with wood, soft light and real plants, with coffee at the bar and desserts made in the kitchen behind it.

Better coffee, better cakes, better experiences
We have grown since those first macarons, but the way we work has not changed very much. We keep testing. We keep tasting. We keep looking for products worth bringing home. Most of all, we want the time you spend here to feel good.
Why Haus?
We chose the name because it is more playful and less predictable than Cozy House. It is a playful name for a warm hideaway, and that is what we hope the room feels like on a rainy, snowy or cold day.
Korean dessert culture shaped our first macarons and later our Cookie Puffs, and we still follow dessert and café trends across Korea and other big cities. But CozyHaus is a Regina café, built by a local family.
Come say hello.
The best way to understand our story is to taste it. We are on Albert Street, open until 9:30 PM.
